Seco de Carne
A popular peruvian home-style dish with beef, cilantro, beer or broth, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Beef800 g
- Cilantro80 g
- Beer or broth400 ml
- Onion1 pcs
- Peas150 g
- Carrots2 pcs
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
For Seco de Carne, cut onion, carrots and beef into serving pieces.
Brown beef lightly.
Add onion and carrots and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Pour in beer or broth and add cilantro and peas.
Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.
Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
