Polish Beans Breton Style
A hearty Polish bean stew with sausage and tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- Dry white beans350 g
- Smoked sausage250 g
- Canned tomatoes400 g
- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Onion1 pcs
- Garlic2 cloves
- Paprika1 tsp
- Marjoram1 tsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
Soak the beans overnight, then cook until tender.
Slice the sausage and fry until browned.
Fry onion with garlic, then add tomato paste and paprika.
Add the beans, sausage, tomatoes, and a little bean cooking liquid.
Simmer for 20–25 minutes until thick.
Season with marjoram, salt, and pepper, then serve with bread.
