Tiropita

Cheese phyllo pie with feta and eggs.

Ingredients

  • Phyllo dough300 g
  • Feta200 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Plain yogurt250 g
  • Butter40 g
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds1 tbsp
  • Salt1 tsp

Instructions

Crumble feta or another cheese and mix with eggs and a little yogurt.

Keep phyllo sheets covered and brush each with butter or oil.

Layer the cheese filling between sheets or roll the sheets into logs.

Place in a baking dish and brush the top with butter.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Bake at 180-190°C until crisp and golden.
