Churros with Chocolate Sauce
Crisp fried choux pastries coated with sugar and served with warm chocolate sauce.
Ingredients
- Wheat flour150 g
- Water240 ml
- Butter50 g
- Egg2 pcs
- Sugar80 g
- Dark chocolate100 g
- Heavy cream80 ml
- Oil for frying500 ml
- Salt1 to taste
- Cinnamon0.5 tsp
Instructions
Bring the water, butter, and salt to a boil; add the flour and stir until the dough forms a single mass.
Cool for 5 minutes, then beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is elastic.
Fill a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Pipe 10-15 cm strips into oil heated to 170°C and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Roll the hot churros in cinnamon sugar.
Make the chocolate sauce by melting chocolate into warm cream, then serve the churros for dipping.
