Dakgalbi

A popular korean home-style dish with chicken thighs, cabbage, sweet potato, well suited for a family weekly menu.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs700 g
  • Cabbage300 g
  • Sweet potato300 g
  • Gochujang2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce3 tbsp
  • Rice cakes200 g
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Fresh ginger1 tsp
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Cut chicken thighs into pieces and mix with gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a little sugar.

Let the chicken marinate for 20-30 minutes.

Cut cabbage, sweet potato or potato, carrot, and onion into pieces.

Stir-fry the chicken and vegetables in a wide pan.

Add a little water if the sauce gets too thick and cook until the chicken is done.

Add rice cakes or cheese at the end if desired, and serve hot.
