Druzhba Rice and Millet Porridge

Soft milk porridge made with two grains: rice and millet.

Ingredients

  • Short-grain rice100 g
  • Millet100 g
  • Water300 ml
  • Milk600 ml
  • Sugar2 tbsp
  • Butter40 g
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Rinse the rice and millet separately; pour boiling water over the millet.

Bring water to a boil and add both grains.

Cook for 8-10 minutes until partly tender.

Add milk, salt, and sugar.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring often.

Add butter, cover for 10 minutes, and serve.
