Cassoulet

A popular french home-style dish with white beans, duck legs or chicken, sausages, well suited for a family weekly menu.

Ingredients

  • White beans500 g
  • Duck legs or chicken600 g
  • Sausages300 g
  • Tomatoes300 g
  • Onions2 pcs
  • Garlic cloves4 cloves
  • Breadcrumbs60 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Rinse white beans, tomatoes, onions and garlic cloves; soak dry legumes and cook until tender.

Chop onions and garlic cloves and saute until soft.

Add duck legs or chicken, sausages, white beans, tomatoes and onions and pour in water.

Simmer gently until thick.

At the end, stir in breadcrumbs, then season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot.
