Spicy Hungarian fisherman's soup with paprika

Ingredients

  • River fish1000 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Hot paprika1 tbsp
  • Sweet paprika2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes2 pcs
  • Chili pepper1 pcs
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Clean the fish and cut it into large pieces; finely chop the onion.

Cook the onion in a little water or oil in a pot until soft.

Add sweet and hot paprika, tomatoes, and sliced chili.

Pour in water, bring to a boil, and simmer the base for 20 minutes.

Add the fish pieces and cook for 10-12 minutes without vigorous stirring so the fish stays intact.

Season with salt and serve the soup very hot.
