Crema Catalana
Catalan custard with a caramelized sugar top
Ingredients
- Milk300 ml
- Egg yolks5 pcs
- Sugar120 g
- Cornstarch25 g
- Cinnamon stick1 паличка
- Lemon zest1 tsp
Instructions
Prepare milk, egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon stick for Crema Catalana.
Mix the wet and dry components separately, then combine until smooth.
For creamy desserts, heat gently; for dough-based desserts, cook until set or browned.
Add egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon zest at the right moment: into the mixture, filling, or for serving.
Let the dessert cool, set, or rest briefly.
Serve in portions.
