Jamaican Jerk Chicken
A popular caribbean home-style dish with chicken thighs, chili pepper, garlic cloves, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs900 g
- Chili pepper1 pcs
- Garlic cloves4 cloves
- Ginger20 g
- Thyme1 tsp
- Allspice1 tsp
- Lime1 pcs
- Salt1 to taste
- Fresh ginger1 tsp
Instructions
For Jamaican Jerk Chicken, cut chili pepper, garlic cloves, allspice and chicken thighs into serving pieces.
Brown chicken thighs lightly.
Add garlic cloves and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Pour in water and add ginger, thyme and lime.
Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.
Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
