Small French sponge cakes with lemon zest
Ingredients
- Wheat flour250 g
- Butter40 g
- Eggs2 pcs
- Sugar120 g
- Lemon zest1 tsp
- Baking powder1 tsp
Instructions
Prepare wheat flour, butter, eggs, sugar and lemon zest for Madeleines.
Mix the wet and dry components separately, then combine until smooth.
For creamy desserts, heat gently; for dough-based desserts, cook until set or browned.
Add sugar, lemon zest, baking powder and butter at the right moment: into the mixture, filling, or for serving.
Let the dessert cool, set, or rest briefly.
