Pork Ojakhuri
A Georgian home-style dish of fried pork, potatoes, onions, and spices.
Ingredients
- Pork600 g
- Potatoes700 g
- Onion2 pcs
- Garlic3 cloves
- Oil4 tbsp
- Khmeli-suneli1 tsp
- Paprika1 tsp
- Cilantro20 g
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper0.5 tsp
Instructions
Cut the pork into large pieces, season, and fry until browned.
Cut the potatoes into wedges and fry separately until almost cooked.
Add sliced onions to the pork and cook until soft.
Return the potatoes to the pan and add garlic, khmeli-suneli, and paprika.
Cook together for 5–7 minutes, stirring gently so the potatoes stay intact.
Sprinkle with cilantro and serve hot straight from the pan.
