Pasta al Pomodoro
A popular italian home-style dish with spaghetti, canned tomatoes, garlic cloves, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti350 g
- Canned tomatoes500 g
- Garlic cloves3 cloves
- Olive oil4 tbsp
- Basil20 g
- Parmesan60 g
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cook spaghetti in salted water until done, reserving a little cooking water.
Prepare the sauce: chop garlic cloves and warm in a pan.
Add canned tomatoes and garlic cloves and cook to the right tenderness.
Stir in olive oil, basil and parmesan and heat into a smooth sauce.
Combine the pasta or noodles with the sauce, adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.
Serve immediately while hot.
