Polish Paczki
Fluffy Polish doughnuts filled with jam or plum butter.
Ingredients
- Flour600 g
- Milk250 ml
- Dry yeast10 g
- Egg yolks5 pcs
- Sugar80 g
- Butter80 g
- Jam or plum butter250 g
- Oil for deep-frying1000 ml
Instructions
Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a spoonful of sugar.
Add flour, egg yolks, butter, sugar, and knead a soft dough.
Let the dough rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
Shape balls and let them proof for another 25 minutes.
Deep-fry at 170°C until golden on both sides.
After cooling, fill with jam and dust with powdered sugar or glaze.
