Ingredients
- Cooked kidney beans600 g
- Onions2 pcs
- Canned tomatoes400 g
- Garlic cloves3 cloves
- Ginger1 tbsp
- Cumin1 tsp
- Ground coriander1 tsp
- Garam masala1 tsp
- Rice for serving300 g
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Cilantro15 g
- Water500 ml
- Fresh ginger1 tsp
Instructions

Finely chop the onions and cook until deep golden.

Add garlic, ginger, and cumin and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomatoes, coriander, salt, and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the beans and 200 ml water or bean liquid.

Simmer for 20–25 minutes, mashing some beans to thicken.

Add garam masala and serve with rice.
