Polish Fish Greek Style
A Polish holiday fish dish topped with a tomato vegetable sauce.
Ingredients
- White fish fillets600 g
- Carrots3 pcs
- Celeriac150 g
- Onions2 pcs
- Tomato paste3 tbsp
- Flour3 tbsp
- Oil4 tbsp
- Bay leaves2 pcs
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Water500 ml
Instructions
Season the fish fillets, coat lightly in flour, and fry until cooked.
Grate or julienne the carrot, celery, and onion.
Fry the vegetables in oil, then add tomato paste, bay leaf, and a little water.
Simmer the vegetable sauce for 15 minutes until soft; adjust salt and acidity.
Arrange the fish in a dish and spread the vegetable sauce over it.
Serve warm or chilled after a few hours of resting.
