Rice Porridge with Raisins

Sweet milk rice porridge with raisins for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Short-grain rice200 g
  • Milk600 ml
  • Water300 ml
  • Raisins60 g
  • Sugar2 tbsp
  • Butter30 g
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Rinse the rice and soak the raisins in warm water for 10 minutes.

Cook the rice in water until partly tender.

Add milk, salt, and sugar.

Simmer for 15 minutes over low heat, stirring.

Add raisins and butter and warm for 2 minutes.

Cover for 5 minutes and serve warm.
