Salade Nicoise
A fresh french home-style dish with tuna, potatoes, eggs, easy to add to a weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Tuna250 g
- Potatoes400 g
- Eggs4 pcs
- Green beans200 g
- Tomatoes3 pcs
- Olives80 g
- Olive oil4 tbsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Lemon1 pcs
- Vinegar1 tbsp
- Dry wine150 ml
- Mustard1 tsp
Instructions
Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender, cool, peel, and cut into large pieces.
Boil the eggs until firm or slightly soft, cool them, and cut them in half.
Blanch the green beans for 2-3 minutes in salted water, then cool them quickly in cold water.
Cut the tomatoes, cucumber, and onion, and flake the tuna into large pieces.
Make the dressing from olive oil, lemon juice or wine vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Arrange lettuce, potatoes, beans, eggs, tuna, olives, and vegetables on a plate, drizzle with dressing, and serve.
