Shawarma
Thin flatbread wrapped around seasoned meat, vegetables, and sauce.
Ingredients
- Chicken thigh500 g
- Thin lavash3 pcs
- Plain yogurt200 g
- Garlic3 cloves
- Tomatoes1 pcs
- Cucumber1 pcs
- Cumin1 tsp
- Smoked paprika1 tsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Dill15 g
- Cilantro15 g
- Lemon1 pcs
Instructions
Marinate the chicken thighs for 1 hour in yogurt, lemon, cumin, coriander, garlic, and paprika.
Fry or bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, then slice thinly.
Make the sauce from yogurt, garlic, lemon, dill, and salt.
Warm the lavash slightly.
Spread with sauce, then add chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and herbs.
Fold into an envelope or roll.
