Savoyard potato bake with bacon, onion, and cheese

Ingredients

  • Potatoes600 g
  • Bacon or pancetta200 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Reblochon cheese250 g
  • Cream200 ml
  • Dry white wine150 ml
  • Dry wine150 ml

Instructions

Boil the potatoes in their skins until partly cooked, cool, and slice.

Fry bacon or pancetta with onion until golden.

Layer potatoes in a baking dish, then bacon and onion.

Add a little cream or white wine if included.

Place sliced Reblochon or another soft cheese on top.

Bake at 190°C for 25-30 minutes until the cheese melts and browns.
