Ingredients

  • Semolina250 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Carrot1 pcs
  • Green peas100 g
  • Mustard seeds1 tsp
  • Cashews50 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

For Upma, cut onion, carrot and semolina into serving pieces.

Brown onion and carrot lightly.

Add onion and carrot and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in water and add green peas, mustard seeds and cashews.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.

Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
